I have a 55 gallon aquarium and it has a canister filter. So I have those, say...one inch tubes running from my filter to my tank. They are clear and they are gross. I tried to rinse the gunk out with water in the tub and no luck. It is stuck tight in there. Is there someting I can buy that will clean those long tubes out?

I have flexibrushes that sort of look like big pipe cleaners..... the store by me had a bag of 5, with different sizes..... one is huge with the brush being about 2 inches wide (round) with the handle being flexible, this brush is about 8 inches with the handle being a total of 3 feet long (brush and handle combined), then it varies on down to the smallest which has a brush about 1/4 inches wide and the brush is about 4 inches long with the handle making it a total of about 8 inches.
