cleaning of large rocks..?

i found some large rocks out in my yard i would like to put im 55 gallon, softball sized. some r limestone..whats the best way 2 clean these before putting in my tank..i was thinking maybe soaking them in a small amount of bleach..? ty u all for helping out on my recent posts...this is a awesome site..

I boil mine for 10-20 minutes.

If it's limestone it will decrease your tank's pH. Test it with some vinegar if you're not sure. If it's not limestone, boiling for 5-10 minutes will kill off anything that may pose a problem.

I thought limestone increased PH. I keep reading over in MalawiMayhem, that they put limestone in their tanks to increase their tank water in the 8.0-8.4 range for Lake Malawi cichlids.
