ok so i covered up my tank for three days with a thick blanket. well that didn't help at all. tank is still cloudy and now its green where is was milky looking before. this all started after my rope fish died and a molly died that was half eaten by the rope fish. so what is the next step here? i'm gonna go get another test kit tonight. what is a good one to get that does everything? :help:

The cloudy water (and the fish deaths) were probably due to a bacterial bloom. Sounds like the tank is not cycled.

A good test kit the the master test kit...I'll get a link;)

the rope fish died due to not eating anything. he would only eat guppies. i didn't know he was't eating till it was too late. the molly died because it was missing his face from the rope fish eating it lol. the tank has been up for well over 6 months more like 9. same fish the whole time. the only thing different is the two fish that died.
