For the past week and a half my fishtank's water has been cloudy. I have done probably about 8 water changes trying to get rid of it. What I'm wondering is, I'm on well water, is it the fact that I'm using well water making it cloudy. Should I convert back to city water and see what that does. Well I'm going to change the water to city water and try that out. If anybody has any suggestions please let me know.

Test your well water especially if your drinking it. 
I was on well water in the country and mine contained alot of sulphur and it stinks like a fart (can I say that?) Does it have an odor?

I have a basic water test kit (ammonia, pH, nitrite nitrate and GH) I don't have anything to test sulfur or anything else like that. I went ahead and changes about 40% of the water and went back to the city water. So far it seems like it is doing the trick.

Usually you can get your well water tested free of charge or for a nominal charge through your city or county I think. It might be good to know what's in your well for your own health too.
