I recently was given a 20H gallon tank, I had my established 10 gallon tank and this was the tank i shut down b/c of the 20. I transfered most of the water from the ten gallon into the twenty and most of the established gravel. I filled the rest of the tank with )conditioned tap water and trasfered my fish thinking it would be ok because of the established water and gravel and so on. Its been a few days, almost a week and my water in the tank is cloudy, so far two fish have had dropsy (i think) The gray wont go away! I read somewhere to do water changes of 10 to 20 percent to help it, so i have been doing this every few days. I tryed to change the filter today and picked up a whisper and it was making nosies and wouldent shut up. So i switched back to my original one a regent canister filter on the tank ( with filter media that i removed from an established tank) and an ungravel filter. How can I clear up the couldy water in my tank?
