Hi everyone
My 25 gal tank has been running for about 3 1/2 weeks, I have 4 zebra danios which have been in the tank for about 2 weeks, this weekend I added 4 scissortail rasboras and 3 amano shrimp. Today the tank is very cloudy, I tested the water and here are the results

Amonia 0
nitrites 0.3
nitrates 10
Ph 8

could this cloudyness be a bacterial bloom? If so should I do more frequent water changes to bring down the nitrites? I usually do a 10-15% water change every 3 days. Also should I cut down on food? I feed them once a day. All the fish are fine, they are swimming around and playing with eachother like they usually do.

Yes, do more and larger water changes to reduce the nitrites while the bacteria colonies catch up with the increased food source. The cloudiness is likely bacterial, but not worth treating--it will go away on it's own as everything reaches an equilibrium. These bacteria are not the same as those that process ammonia and nitrites, which adhere to objects rather then being free floating in the water column. With juvenile fish, I'm hesitant to advise a drastic cut in feeding--rather, make sure food is not going uneaten to being taken into the filter, where it contributes to the nitogen levels without benefitting the fish.

This has been a big ordeal from the start, I first bought the tank to eventually keep columbian sharks ( the LFS said the tank was big enough) I found out I couldn't cause the tank is way too small, When I bought the tank the woman told me to put in feeder guppies to start the tank she gave me way too many (24) alot died in the first couple of days so I took them back to the store and waited a few days for the levels to go down a bit and then I got the zebra danios, I had them for about 2 weeks and I was testing the water daily and the levels went down considerably (amonia was at 0 and nitrites were at 0.1), I spoke to another fish store and the guy said it was safe to add the next fish. I was completely fish dumb and at the mercy of the LFS, so now I am just trying to keep my fish as healthy as I can, I don't want them to die or be sick. Any advice on what to do now would be appreciated.

Thanks for the advice. I just did a 20 % water change and I will check the levels again when I get home from work tonight.
