Hey guys! i did my weekly water change yesterday and i cleaned out my Whisper 10 filter while i was at it. I cleaned the bio bag in the bucket of dirty water, and after i gravel vac'd the entire tank as usual. But the weird thing is this time my water got real cloudy and its still staying pretty cloudy. Definately worse than before. Could this be caused by messing with the bio bag or what? Im unsure how to fix this problem. Nothing new was added or taken away. If you have any info id definately appreciate it!!

is there anything i should be doing if i am cycling again??? i didnt think i cleaned the filter that much and plus where i was doing it in dirty water i figured it would be okay. So is my tank just going to take a while to get back to clean water again??? THANKS GUYS!

The one time I had cloudy water, I used some tablets called "Water Clear Tank Buddies" which helps to neutralize iron. You might want to try some, they worked great for my situation.

i was thinking about taking out my bio bag and replacing it with sponge. Is this a good idea or will my tank crash with all my fish in it??., Also i was looking into an Aquaclear filter 30 as an investment for later on, its pretty cheeap so i was going to pick one up along with a new thermometer thats not glass. Is 100 watts enough for 10-30 gallon tank (just planning for the future lol) THANKS GUYS!
