OK I started with two ocellaris clowns in my QT tank. They've been fine for about 3 weeks, almost ready to move them into the main tank. I woke up this morning and one of them was dead. The only thing I could think of is that I resealed a 150gal tank in that room and possibly the acetic acid fumes from the silicone affected the fish?
In any case, I have a question about adding a second clown. Should I just wait the rest of the week and then add it to the display, then qt another one? Or should I add a second one to the QT and begin the process all over again? I don't have any preference either way, I'm just wondering what would be better for the fish.
