Clown Loach Problems

I have 4 clown loaches they all are doing fine except for one. One of them has weird eyes. Turned fatter and has a lighter color. I did not buy him looking like that. He is now less active.

I bought them about 2 weeks after black Friday. So I had them for about a month.

Unfortunately he is suffering from ascites and exophthalmia. Check water parameters. You could try treating him in a hospital tank with an antibiotic but recovery is very slim. It's more a matter of days rather as weeks before he expires. Also your substrate isn't suited for loaches...

Test your aquarium water and post the results.

I went to LFS they said everything checked out expect ph was was slightly acidic 6.2

So you don't know what the values of the testing results are?

I highly suggest you purchase you own test kits and keep a log of the water parameters.

How often and how much water are you changing during regular water changes?

I do water changes every week. It is random days but i still do it every week
