CO2 regulator setting

Was hoping I could cheat and do Beer AND plants with one regulator...interesting thought, tho

Hey - it COULD work if you have a good regulator and a very good needle valve. That would combine my two favorite hobbies!!!!

Just split the line with a tee valve and use 2 needle valves, one for the beer and one for the fish. I use the needle valves from the hardware store that they advertise for the 1/4" tubing for refrigerator water inlets. They work great!
I have one on the main line, then split with a T valve and put one more on each line after that.........more than enough control. Also, they are only $6-8 bucks ea.:headbang2:

The thing I am wondering though is in a planted tank we use a needle valve to control flow rate. In his keg I assume he is after a certain pressure and a needle valve wouldnt be what you use. Hmm. maybe start off with a higher pressure, T it off with a LPR on the keg line and a needle valve on the other?
