Hi all.
So I got my co2 up and running. The system I have is the hydro green. The older model without a solenoid, so my co2 runs 24 hours. Should I have an air pump running at night to "gas off" the Co2? Thank you for a wealth of information!

I don't think it is necessary. But if you are worried about it,it won't hurt. It is really just wasting the CO2 running without the lights. But it won't harm your fish.

Wasting really? I thought that plants use CO2 when the light is on and at night the tank builds up CO2 and begins to use that built up CO2 level right when the lights come on again. Am I wrong?

In order for the plants to be using the CO2,the lights need to be on. If you want to start the CO2 a little bit before the lights come on,so it builds up to 30ppm,there is nothing wrong with that. But considering you only need to have your lights on for 8 hours a day(or so) and it only takes about 1 hour(or so) for the CO2 to build up to 30ppm,you would be wasting it for 15 hours a day.

Can't really turn off DiY CO2 so is there risk of too much CO2?

not usually. BUT... if you're running multiple bottles on a small setup, then maybe.
