Coconut shell carbon

Is anyone familiar with this product?

I wonder how it would work for aquarium filtration. I think I read somewhere that cocount shell can soften the water a bit as well.

Carbon has no defect to hardness

Generally i suggest non use active carbon with normal management, because remove useful substance
