Is everyone stumped ?
they are long and slender like a killie fish.
They are gray with yellow tips on fins and hints of blue under scales.

Well it's a species name not a genus name and ---pinna is "fin."
But yes, we are pretty stumped.
...Not satisfied, I went to Baensch and now I wonder if you're seeing Lemon Tetras, Hyphessobrycon pulchripinnis. The yellow is strongest on the anal fin. The eye is definitely red.
When they're more settled their body color will warm to a rosy silver.
Did I get it? Do I win a herring? ark ark ark ark clap clap clap

Picture a freshwater fire fish
i'm a long time tetra lover and have owned dozen or so diff kinds and never seen these before.
They are a dull gray with a long body yellow only on the tips of the fins a black spot on the dorsal fin the blue seems to only be around the gills.
BTW I now own 6 of the mystery tetras

I plan on joining the MAS soon missed the meeting this month but plan on attending the auction and show on feb 3rd.
I'm no closer to answering my question or posting a pic.
I do know they are getting a tad agressive.
