So, I have a 20gal with the follow stock:
1X Sparkling Gouramis
5X Black Neon Tetra
2X Otto
2X Cory Cat
and an unknown amount of ghost shrimp and snails

Which I want to/plan to merge into my 75gal tank with the following stock:
9X Harlequin Rasbora
6X Neon Rainbowfish
5X Serpea Tetra
5X Cory Cats (mixed species)
1X Golden Dream Killi
1X Green/Mottled Molly
1X Tiger Pleco
1X Tomasi Pleco
3-4 Nerita Snails
1 Gold Rabbit Snail
Some Assassin Snails
Pest Snails
4-6 Ghost Shrimp

Both tanks are well planted, and the 75gal can definitely handle the increased stocking. What I'm worried about most is the Sparkling Gouramis, being the smallest and shyest fish I've ever seen. Will it be able to adapt to the larger tank or should I put the wee fella into a 5gal I have lying around?

The Serpae Tetra might take a dislike to the gourami. This gourami is best in a small group, say 3-4 in a 5g planted.

Yeah, the serape are the only ones I see as a potential issue. You have plenty of room there IMO

Ok, for the sake of the Gouramis and my MTS I set up a tiny, heavily planted and well filtered 5gal tank and moved the rest of the fish into the 75. Turns out that if you put two similarly sized schooling fish of different species together they have a powow. The neons and the rasboras basically said "eh, you're weird, but we all have black lines, sort of, so lets do this" and created a single large school of 14 fish that moves around the tank. The cories have vanished into the plants and rocks, as have the ottos and the shrimp. So far everyone seems to be fine.

The Gouramis is also doing ok, had a scare with the heater because I thought it was up to high but the gouramis seemed fine. Had to replace the filter because the old one got jammed up or something, but it's all good now :D
