No, I don't work for them or even know them personally. All I know is that if I had the room, I would buy every single comet on their website. They have truly beautiful fish.

They're having a sale since their comets don't sell well - $10 per fish. For fish that are 6-8 inches, that's a total steal.

Just thought I'd give everyone a heads up.

Check them out at http://www.raingarden.us/goldfish-comet.htm

Where are you from Lupin? Raingarden is located in Hawaii, and Southeast Asia is definitely a goldfish hotspot at the moment. From Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand, come some of the worlds most beautiful (fancy) goldfish. Even Australia has a flourishing goldfish culture. All a tropical climate gives you is the chance to breed year round :D

Philippines, Inka. But I never had luck with coldwater fish lasting for so long during summer months.:) I can try again though if I have time.lol At the moment, I'm in the process of negotiating with my LFS deals to get their tanks bcause they will be closing down by May 30. I refuse to accept their decision but they had a hard time managing two branches. It never hurts to try the comets again I guess.;)

Lol. Good luck with your prospective acquisition! During the hottest months, it might be a good idea to shade the tank/pond? and pump up the aeration/filtration as much as possible to keep the oxygen levels up.
