Comment on New Tank

I just bought a Aqueon 20 gallon deluxe starter kit. Aqueon took over or bought out All-Glass. The equipment in this kit seems better then the others I have seen in this price range. I figured I could use the filter/heater until I needed to upgrade. I did research on the components and they seem to have gotten good reviews. However, if someone has experience with these tanks or this filter/heater please let me know. I'm still in my thrity day limit to return it. The reason for this is because it is my understanding that the store discontinued carrying this model or perhaps series. So, if there is an issue, it would be nice to find out now instead of the hard way.

I have no personal experience with them, but I've heard good things about the Aqueon line in general.

I think that's the one I have. Picked it up at PetSmart back in December. It has the Whisper 20 HOB filter. I have no complaints yet.

i hate set ups since i like to only use one kind of heater and one kind of hob for my tanks. should be ok for you.

If its only a whisper 20 then you might want to think about adding another small hob or a sponge filter depending on your stocking plan

Thank you for the responsed. No, it does not have the whisper filter. I'm not sure if I would have purchased it if it had the whisper. It has a Aqueon 20 filter in it. The cartridges are expensive but, available. It puts out 125 gallons per/minute and is four stage which I never heard of. As stated before the equipment seems to be better then most starter kits. Hopfully I can use the equipment it came with for awhile before upgrading.
