Como Park & Conservatory in Saint Paul

Do the flowers make the whole place smell nice? I went to an orchid show once and remember the smell was awsome. Neet toe looking place :grinyes:
Great photos! I haven't been to the MN zoo or Como Park since I was a kid! The last time I was at Como Park one of the Giraffes had just given birth to a baby. It was so cute! Now I have a child of my own and when she gets a little older I am going to take her! The Duluth Zoo is small but still a nice place to visit. Thats the closest to me. I want to go the the Great Lakes Aquarium also. I hear its pretty cool there.
FISHSHROD-The room in the first photo (the sunken garden) definitely smells really good. The other areas don't have as many flowers (i.e. the fern room) so they don't have such a strong smell.
countryboy-I thought I had heard that one of the flamingos gave birth recently (at the como zoo), but I didn't see any babies when I was there so I'm not sure. The flamingo and duck exhibit is actually one of my favorites, just because it's funny to see them all interact. I've actually been to the Great Lakes Aquarium, it was pretty neat.. though my favorite part was the limited time seahorse exhibit, not sure if it's still there or not. But they had dwarf seahorses and those guys were cuuuuuuute!
