So the clown loaches have figured out a fun new game. Anywhere you drop an algae wafer they pull it into their cave and guard it. They'll snack on it and sometimes leave it alone but generally with 2 in there for 48 hours (since removed) I didn't see the 3 otos get even a nibble. The clowns seem to do this trick with almost anything they can find that is edible.

How else can I feed the otos? I'm sure I could drop in a big chunk of zuchinni but will the loaches be territorial about this too? Lucky for the platy they seem to enjoy or tolerate his company and he gets to snack on their stolen lunch.

Get a veggie clip and hang smaller slices of zucchini up high. The Otto's will have a better shot at it.

As far as algae wafers go, I found that I have to hide them up higher also in plants, or decorations to keep my Bolivian's from stealing them from the plec and Otto's.

Good Luck!
