Currently doing a fishless cycle on a 55g--(I haven't had a fishtank in YEARS).

There is a ton of condensation on the two canopies. Is this normal, and will it cause any "strange" build up or create any problems down the road. Granted, my XP3 is cranked to the fullest, and the heat is around a steady 86 deg. A lot of water circulation and bubbles at the surface. Just curious, wanting to make sure everything is right and normal. Thanks

I had the same thing and didn't like it, so I place plates (glass or plexiglass) over the tank, but under the hood. It sits in the groove from the upper tank lip. It also stops jumping fish from hitting the lights and reduces the evaporation in my tanks.
