Congo Tetra

No, you cannot. They get to be a full 4 inches (adult males) and need to be in schools of 6 or so, though more is better. They are also active swimmers that require a lot of space. A 20g (even long) is just not adequate. Sorry:(

Well, how about teling us what drew you to congo tetras in the first place and maybe we can find a smaller model for you? ;)
 
Have you seen the pearl or moonlight gouramis? They could make a show fish in a 20 gallon and then be surrounded by smaller fish.
