Looks more like scars from these recent hurricanes we've had. :p

Whats wrong with that? Jet fumes aren't toxic or anything like car fumes. burning jet fuel doesn't pose any problems for the environment. (this ad paid for by the folks who make jet engines)

Sounds about right gonefishin.

But wait, if you act now, we will also send you a pack of our finest jet A cigerettes to make you feel like you are always going on vacation.

Did you know that htere isnt that much difference between Jet A and Diesel?

You mean emmissions wise? If so, no I didn't. It's something I wondered about, all those jets burning hundreds of gallons of fuel. And here the state of cali is so concerned with my 2litre 4banger causing too much smog.

I actually meant the fuel itself.

We use to burn Jet A in the tractors that pull the baggage carts at the airport.

Tom,
In a nutshell, yes.

Anyone else wonder why there was a map of a few states overlaid on a picture of some wheat blowing in the wind?

Man, I need to take a break...

Contrails are frozen water drops that form clouds - not frozen fuel...

It's a concern that the increase of contrails could effect future weather patterns.
