I currently have a 30 gallon cube tank sitting around, I've cleaned all the coraline algae off the glass exact the very small amount too close to the silicon to get, and rinsed the inside of the tank a few times... is there any other precautions I need to tank before I can start setting this up for a freshwater tank?

rinse rinse rinse..

If you want you could soak it in a bleach solution to kill any last pathogens in the tank. After that rinse, rinse, rinse, followed by filling it with water, double dose on dechlorinator, let it sit for a few hours, drain, rinse some more and it will be ready for use.

Vinegar and rinse is all you need.

I had my 75G pressurewashed with high temp water/steam, then checked for leaks.. It was a SW at one time...Now I decided it's going to be again...but thats what I did anyways
