cool fish?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you said "jewels", so I'm assuming you have a pair, and I think a 29 gal is minimum for a pair of jewels, so you might not want to add anymore fish. Even if you could I don't think there is any kind of fish that will stay small enough live in a 29 and not get killed by the jewels.
Like I said, correct me if I'm wrong anybody, but this seems to be what I've found from research, I've been looking into getting a jewel.

i have a mating pair and a pair that arent and a pleco all fish are small when they get big they will go t o a 100g

dempsy? thats hat i thought but i put a really beautiful 5" in with my four little 3"ers and the next morning all that was left of the dempsy was his body no head?

Well, there's your answer. If the dempsey didn't make it I don't think any thing else will, at least not in that size of a tank. The dempsey is the only other fish that I can think of that can rival the agressiveness of the jewels. Especially if there is a maiting pair in there nothing will stand a chance.
