I`ve had a Coral Beauty four days & noticed he loves to graze the LR for food BUT once it dose come to feeding time he don't really seem interested in eating the brime shrimp that is offered at meal time he may have one are two bits that's it & with him been a medium size fish well im starting to worry a little but he dose look happy & well so dose anyone else have/had this problem with a coral beauty?
should i add some sort of alge, veggie, sea weed wafers to my tank for him to graze on

the lfs where he was from feed all there fish with dried flakes i`d rather not do this but can anyone offer advice

Sorted the problem after trying Frozen brime shrimp, dryed blood worm, frozen marine mix,Aquarian Marine Flake still no joy but i had some king british dryed flake food that nothing would touch but tryed & bang my Coral Beauty went mad eatting every little bit pretty good really seen as my other fish hate it :) anyway still going to try some sort of wafer got any ideas :- alge, veggie, sea weed??

Nori and Mysis are probably your best bet. plus brine aren't really healthy at all for marine fish, unless enriched.

what is Nori and Mysis is it a flake food are brandname are wafers????

Nori = seaweed, you can buy it at supermarkets, mysis is like brine but comes from marine environment and is healthier for marine fish.

Thanks Mysis& to all thants replyed i will pick up some Nori and Mysis 2day all been well from me local marine shop

Somtimes the Coral Beauty like most fish take time to adapt to their surroundings and food. I had one and it only took frozen or live brine shrimp for a few days. After about a week it started taking flake food - Total Flake Food seems to be enjoyed by almost all of my fish. You can get this in Veggie as well.

The coral Beauty is eating very well now on frozen mysis every day & King British marine flake food every so often he dose not eat the nori wafer that much unless i break it up then he gobbles it up as it floats around the tank :o but he dose seem happy grazing my LR
