Coraline marine aquarium gravel to raise PH

I need to raise my PH in my 180g. Its sitting at 6.0 or less and i want it to be around 7.0-7.5.

Is coraline marine aquarium gravel ok to raise it? I have about 250g of total water volume (tank + sump) and i have a 20lb bag

Can't find anything on the web -- what's in the gravel exactly? What does the bag say?

I'm not sure that will raise the pH per se, but it would be safe to use in your filter anyway.

If it's crushed coral, it will raise the pH. That much I do know, as many people use that in African cichlid tanks.
