You could easily keep two dozen in a 55. I keep four species of cory in my seventy-two bowfront. My thirty gallon has at least twenty C. simillis with a breeding pair of angels, three moonlight plecos, and a few cards. Because I breed them, sometimes I'll have a hundred+ catfish growing out in a fifteen gallon. But only for a month or so.

I raised 1000's of little cories in my years and they all grow out 50 or so to a 20 long about 3-4 months 1 inch + and ready to go with water changes every other day of 30% +. I have a 55 with all the keepers to say 6-8 of each. I would say there are 75+ in this tank. Proper care and feeding you can keep them quite happy.

heehee- they are so cute when they look like little tadpolls! You must be a very proud mommy! :D
