Some people say that you can put a corycat in a 2galllon tank and some people say you can't. I have a betta in my 2 gallon so could i put a corycat w/ my betta??

Short Answer: No.

Long Answer: Cory cats are extremely active fish and a 2 gallon tank would be a cruel existence without being able to stretch their fins and behave like a normal cory. Cory cats are schooling fish and need others of their kind to be comfortable and live normal lives. A 2 gallon tank prohibits adding enough cories for a school and sentences them to an abnormally cruel and lonely existence. Cory cats need stable and clean water and overcrowding a 2 gallon tank is cruel and likely sentencing them to an early death. Cory cats are simply not suited for a two gallon tank, even without a betta in it. Please don't try it.

WOW
With all this information: crual, schooling...
You are sure that i will not try!
You saved a cory cat from lonely existance.

He's right. One or two would live, but they wouldn't be happy. You won't be happy with them either, because the fun of them is watching the antics that go on.

I'm confused - the original post says the betta tank is 2g, your sig is asking about a 10g... did you move the betta?

If the tank is a 2g, I wouldn't add anything else. If it's a 10g, you could add a few neons (they need to be in a group, five or six would be okay), but I'd steer clear of gouramis - they're territorial like bettas and the two could fight. Danios need room to zip around and might drive your betta nuts - they never stop, they're a little crazy :)

thanx Blinky,
My betta is in a 2gal and i plan to move him into a 10gal in May-June.
