I'm horrible at ID, especially with Corys, so I wont comment since it seems like the others have that covered...but when it comes to length, a lot of times confusion stems from discrepancies in how the measurements are made. Most tend to go by standard length, not total, so that may be why the numbers mentioned seem bigger than normal Corys.

They are C. leopardus. I have some of these and they are fairly common in the trade. C. gomezi is more rarely exported and less likely to be encountered unless you were seeking them directly (and would be a fairly high price).

I also have C. julii which has spots on the head (unlike C. trilineatus which has wormlines on the head) and a rounded nose.

Mine are also about 3" standard length.
