Crab ID

I pulled this guy out of my tank today. I didn't put him in there, must have came in on the live rock. I think it's a Gorilla Crab, but I'm not certain. Not taking any chances, he's taking a trip to the beach with my wife today.

Can anyone give a positive ID? It's about the size in between a dime and a quarter.

Looks like it. In the end it doesn't really matter what kind of crab it is - if you don't feed it (directly or indirectly) eventually it will find some alternate food. Usually the kind of food that gets eaten is NOT what you planned as food.

Yeah that's probably a good point, no sense taking any chances, and since catching him was easy the first time I'll just count myself lucky and let him find a new home.
