My crappy tank has sprung a "moderate" leak. Worst of all, I just put my one and only fish in it today! Since I already have cycled water and filter, and so on, can I just transfer everything over to a new tank, or do I need to start all over? Also, should I wash the gravel off before transferring it? Thank you.

Just transfer everything in the tank, gravel, decor, filter, over to the replacement tank.
You might see a ~very~ small ammonia spike, but nothing a few good water changes won't handle, if you see one at all.

i had dual fluval 404's on my 75 gallon tank. when i set up my 55 gallon i just used one of the 404's from the 75 on it... not 1 ammonia spike, not even a trace... ever. and i tested my water daily. also, no nitrites or anything. so yeah... you should be just fine
