Crayfish and puffers?

Puffers tend to eat shelled things, such as mollusks, but I would guess that this would be extended to crustaceans.

i've seen the very smallest puffers at a lfs kill full grown ghost shrimp that appeared to be 1/4 the puffers mass, and gobble them down. my fahaka will kill a crayfish even when it is much more than a meal for him. just enjoying a good hunt and one bite or two, leaving the rest of it to mess with the water quality.

I was concerned about when my puffers rest at night on the bottom of the tank. The guy at the lfs said that the crayfish might grab the puffer, and eat him then. any thoughts?

I've got a thought, if you're concerned about either one, don't put them together.
