Crinum thaianum ( Onion Plant ) question

I wouldn't say it's almost unheard of, it just doesn't propagate very fast. They create daughter bulbs, which is what I'll assume the offshoots are. You can break them off and replant them.

If they don't proagate very fast then I must have exactly the right conditions for them as they havn't been in my tank more than 4 months & one bulbe has 5 off shoots.

Is it better to break them off or cut them off?

At what size can I break / cut them off at ?

They are not very big at the moment but the new leaves are already over 4" long.

Thanks. :)
