I wish I had a camera, I think my c.blassii has a spathe! The bottom has a swollen white part, whole thing ~2.5 inches. I would not have guessed this plant is all that happy in it's tank, a 75g with eco & 96w of T-8s. The leaves are usually a bit ratty. It does send out runners but they don't seem to grow as big as the original leaves. I'm an occasional root tab user but haven't added any for a while. Anyway I'm excited!

No, they're 4ft x 32w x 3 bulbs, like T-12s but thinner. The "T" numbers are 1/8 inch increments so T-8= 1inch diameter, T-12=1.5 inch, like that.
