Cucumber salad

Need help fast...
Wife and kids are coming home tommorow,bringing family with them....I told her I could handle the cookout on my own...did the shopping...meats in the marinade...slaw's made...vegie tray...ect.. but for the life of me I can't remember how to make cucumber salad...

thin sliced cuke
thin slice onions
sour cream

WHAT AM I MISSING

celery salt ??? maybe

Here's my Gram's recipe. . . best creamed cucumbers I ever ate!!

You're right you need cukes, onions, 1 cup of sour cream, 1 Tablespoon of cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon (or more to taste) of salt, and a lot of grinds of fresh black pepper.
Hope you try it. You will not be disapointed.

as I was looking for cider vinegar I remembered how she makes it,,,,same basic recipe , but no sugar or pepper, just salt and dill....

I had celery salt on my mind because I forgot to put it in the slaw...

next time I'll just stick with the meat, and buy the salads
