I've taken CWOGUNNER'S mods for his AC 70 & 110 and switched mine also,
and have many other sizes of AC'S so i modded my 30's and my 20's
also haven't tackled my 50 yet as it is missing the basket,
heres what i did as per the 30, it also like the 70 just took 2 30 sponges on top of one another,.. simple
the 20's i tried the 50 sponge and cut it in half almost right size but, not to snug so i had to use a 1/2 inch more cut from other half,
so the next 20 i used a 70 sponge, cut in half width wise
to leave the tallest and widest part intact
then i cut a half inch off the width if the half and a we bit from the top to make it fit under the handles of the basket its a snug fit
you can leave it like that or i like to use floss. so u use hbh filter bating and cut to fit sponge and split it and place alongside the back of sponge and insert basket into the filter and as per Cwo4gunners mod u use straws in front of sponge as to let water be forced thru
also since my ceramic media has no where to go i just hung it from the straw into the stream as to not waste the bacteria,.. but you don't have to do that,.
i did that on my 110 but i had a wooden dowel the same size as the straw and looped the large bag on that,.
