Hey,

After 3.5 weeks, my cycle has been established in my 29g freshwater tank. A big thank you to the smart and helpful posters on this board. I've read over so many threads and posts and I've learned a lot. Earlier tonight, my readings were:

pH - 7.4
Ammonia - 0ppm
Nitrite - 0ppm
Nitrate - 80ppm

So one big water change later (my hands are like prunes!) my nitrates are at 5ppm. I re-dosed a bit of ammonia so the bacteria have something to eat. I'll re-test tomorrow morning and if everything's good, I'm off to Big Al's to stock up. Thanks again!

I didn't have a hand in helping you, but congrats! :bday:

Now the fun and excitement can really begin! Good luck!

Exciting! Best of luck on your fish-finding mission!

Just a hint, if you are having problems finding fish, they are usually in the water!

Ok, so sorry for that one but I couldn't resist webcricket! Sarcasm is the spice of my life!
