Well my 60g tank has been cycling 7 days.

It can process 2 or 3ppm Amonia within 24 hours.:y220e:

Now if it would take out the nitrites I would be a very happy man.
but I still have nitrites in the tank, like 4ppm. :thud:

I want fishies, but will wait to see what happens with it. Gives me time to get all my decorations set up.

Always good to have the decorations set up before fish anyway. I always end up moving them at least 3 times before I'm satisfied. :)

Do you have increasing nitrates..?

I have 10ppm Nitrates, but it's been that for 3 days, doesn't go up or down.

The nitrites will more than likely get higher than 4ppm before you see them start going down.... When my nitrites did start dropping that is when my nitrates started rising pretty fast.. my nitrates stayed pretty steady until close to the end.

I added some Bio-Spire, enough for my 60g tank, but I dont think it worked.

So I keep adding amonia every day to bring it to 2-3ppm, and keep testing the tank, I have till friday till the silicon cures, then I have to soak it for 3 days before I can accualy get my items in and fully deco...

Kinda wish I could soak it in my tank, living with it in my bathtub for 3 days is gona suck. not sure if it will hold water or have a slow leak.

only 3???? :jaw: I've rearranged my tank at least 10, and I think more are coming :grinno: I think its always going to be a matter of getting that perfect spot. On the upside my fish seem to like the layout now, didn't seem to care for the first one after the sand/gravel change.
