what seems weird is how bright and open his eye is after only 1 day.... I thought kittens were born eyes closed and stayed that way for a while.... at least several days.

Good observation Danger, but don't forget - it's not a normal cat... it was a one-eye'd no-nose'd cat who only lived for one day...

I believe it... remember there was a 3-eye'd cat in the news a while back.
