Wow. I was so shocked when I read that quote. Didn't know sometime like this would come out of nowhere.. I was wondering why I she never replied to me. I hope the best for her family and her fish.. She never got a chance to try breeding olive nerites like she said she would.
I know that more than a few of us have a few somethings to remember her by. She was always eager to offer advice. I know that in the short time that I've "known" her I've come to depend on her. I'll miss seeing her around.
I was shocked when I was checking out her classified ad for her snails to find out what happened to her. I did not know her, but I read great things about her snails, and as soon as my tank was cycled I was going to get some pretty pink and purple snails from her. Those colors can be hard to come by. I am so sad for her family, from what I have read here and on other forums, she was a very nice person!
I was stunned by this sad news. I purchased several of Barb's lovely snails over the last few months and will think of her whenever I watch them. We only corresponded for a short time but she will be remembered as a kind and generous person.
She will be missed.
Wow, what a shock. I was looking up Barb to send someone pictures of her snails. She was a lovely person, I enjoyed my transactions and the pm's from her. She had such integrity and such a loving way of dealing! I'm really bummed and feel like the fact that her "babies" live on in our aquariums keeps her love and dreams alive! It was a real pleasure Barb...you will be missed!!!
