i have posted question on here alot lately..lol..sorry to keep bugging everybody..but i have another question..can damsel fish get ich? cause i think one of mine has something ..i have just noticed it acting funny today..it will chase one of the other damsels and then it goes over to the filter tube that's down in the water and starts scratching itself against it like a fish with ich does...does this meen he has it? and if so how do i treat it? do i use the same meds.for FW fish?

Ouch, yes, they can get ich. Not very often because they are pretty bullet proof fish but you found their one weakness, using them in a cycling tank causes so much stress in breaks down their immune system that Ich can take hold. What really sucks now is if you want to setup your tank "correct" you must remove the damsels and leave the tank fallow (without any fish) for the next 8 weeks to be certain no ich in your tank survived to spread to new fish you add.
