Is this normal?
Ive just got second tank from work, set up in my house now.
The fish are going nuts - skating here and there and Im hoping its just cos theyve been transported and are trying to find their places and settle in the tank again.

I know I have the wrong sort of fish all in together(unfortunately), but the one danio in the tank appears to be picking on the one convict?
And the upside down catfish seems to be picking on anything that comes near...including the corys and clown loaches.

One clown loach looks very sad - keeps going very still and looks like his going to die.
I am very worried. Tomorrow will be the task of choosing which fish to bunch together (im not going to purchase any), so will need to decide which may prefer to live with each other.

Any ideas or help much appreciated x

Hi Bunlet,

Im really sorry, but as Im a complete beginner I dont know what cycled means? I know its bad, isnt it :(
The tank is a Juwel Rio 125..
Measurements are 180x100x40cm
Maybe 35g?

The danio appears to have stopped picking on the convict now, it may have been an initial thing ??

I had some Zebra Danio's that were attacking and killing my Cardinal Tetras at one point. I hated those darn Danios, and they reminded me of cockroaches. I was so glad to remove them from my tank. I gave them to a friend and he threw them in his Oscar tank.

Thanks for letting us know how big the tank is but also tell us exactly what is in it. I'm not sure if you have mentioned all the fish or not.

This link will tell you all about cycling. If the tank is uncycled the fish will be stressed and this can cause aggression.
