Ive got a baby (little over 1 inch) indo datnoid currently in a heavily planted 29. As awesome as he is however, i want to add a little more activity to the tank. I would like to hear your recommendations for this tank. i'm definitely getting some sort of pleco or loach bottom feeder but i also want a more active inhabitant that will not become food too soon, and yes this 29 is a growout, the datnoid will be going into a 75, then a 100+ that is currently under construction and to be finished next year.

A birchir might be a good choice for a bottom dweller once you have the big tank. I don't have experience with either so I'm not 100% sure if it would work. You should check out monsterfishkeepers, they specialize in fish like datnoids and their suitable tankmates. Good luck!
