Dead Mollies Everwhere

I have 3 balloon mollies in my 30g tank and one day a female died then 2 days later another female died and then like a week later the male died. I was awtchin one of the females the day she died and she was prefectlyt healthy and then just died. I have 2 rainbow sharks (2-3in), 1 red tail, 6 neon, 2 prawn (dont no species), 1 tiger botia loach, 3 SAEs, 2 red gouramis, and 6 fully fully grown tiger barbuses. When I watch all the fish seem peaceful but I have my suspicions about the prawns because this started happening about a week after having gotten the prawns. Anyone know what might be causing this because all fish looked healthy and then they just died. When i find them they look pretty deteriorated and i think the CAEs and the prawns may be pickin their corpses for food.

Prawns'll do that ans should never be kept with small fish

they are fairly small prawns and i have no clue of their species and this site does not offer pictures but the guy at my local fish store said they are non agressive and peaceful with community fish he even recommended me not to get crabs who were cheaper because they would tear my slow moving fish apart

Unless your molly was ripped apart, I highly doubt it was the prawns.

Few questions we have to have answers to in order to help you:

How long has the tank been running?
What are your water parameters? pH, ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates.
How often do you do water changes and how much?

That's a strange mix of fish, I hope your tank is huge.

Livebearers, sharks, tetras, barbs, CAE's, and gouramis. I think the lines of expected compatibility have been crossed.

I had a red clawed shrimp (prawn). The LFS said that they were peaceful and fine with fish. However, I came home to find him eating a very alive neon tetra. The tetra's back end was snipped down all the way to it's backbone. I made the shrimp let go and the tetra died a few seconds later when the rest of the fish in the tank attacked it. After researching it I found that they are "opportunistic" predators. I returned the shrimp to the LFS the next day and they told me that no one else had reported this type of behaviour and they had sold alot. I had also lost a bloodfin tetra, and one of my red gouramis had mysterious cuts on him that he had to be treated for during the 3 days I had the shrimp, but these two occured before the neon, so I am just assuming it was the shrimp.
