does anyone ever take a taste or are they too used to him?

and i'm curious how big your iridecent shark is too?

thanks for indulging me!

LOL....they are used to him - if anything, they are always underfoot when he's in there...specially the big irridescent. The big ID is probably 22" and a tub!!! We recently got another smaller ID shark for company for him....he's about 10" and growing daily!

Nice tank tank debra. I recently modified my tank plumbing so the old water goes directly to the outside drain, and the tap is ready for fillin up in the filter sump. No more hoses needed.

A few days ago I was thinking what are your water change schedules. How much and how often, and where you get your water. If it's from the tap, how many gallons of dechlorinator you need per moth, and that kind of stuff.

I'm planning on winning the lottery next week, so I'm already designing my new tank and need some advice.

We do about a 600 gallon water change every 3 or 4 weeks...and we do go thru the dechlor...lol...usually buy it in the BIG jugs...

My hubby did ALL the work...and we got a lot of great deals....and we figure, without any labor, we've spent about $15,000....

Beautiful and amazing tank! Do you charge admission for friends/family to come to see it? lol

All our friends/family are in shock and aww with our newest tank, the 125g african cichlid...I can only imagine what they'd say about a tank like that.

:bowing: Nice to see some Pacus well taken care of in a nice sized tank though too!

Tank Disaster

For those of you who are unaware, Deb's tank had major problems last night. You can find her post under the general freshwater forum. Really sad, her Pacu past.
