I love it when they put a 'silencer' the size of a D-cell on a revolver. pfft, pfft

Yeah, that used to really tick a fiend of mine who was a gun nut off. :rant2: He would go on a rant about how the exhaust gases(which make the loud BANG!!! when gun goes off) would be expelled around the cylinder and not the silencer.

I was always amazed that on the old FBI show(anyone hear old enough to remember that one?) they would have a gun battle and FBI agents would be shooting at the culprit and all missing. Along comes Efram Zimbalist, Jr. with his snub-nose .38 and BAM! take the guy out with one shot. :thud:
