Just wanted to send a big thank you to the AC community.

With this site, I was able to successfully cycle my tank fishlessly (is that a word). It only took three weeks as I seeded with pond filter material. I have done a 90% water change and will do one more before adding fish just in case something creepy from the pond made it into the tank.

I know have a new problem...I have made too many trips to my lfs's in planning my stock. With my newfound knowledge, I cringe as I hear the advice given to customers and even myself at these stores. :mad2:

Awsome! I wish you the best of luck with your aquarium. unfortunatly I cringe all the time when going to the LFS.. It's a part of gaining knowlege. not All LFS are the brightest bulbs in the box..
