I dont know whats going on my java moss is slowly disappearing. Ive never heard of java moss "melting" but that could be a solution. The only other thing that I can think is that one of my fish are eating it. Ive always thought that fish dont like it but maybe Ive got weird fish. Would sae's eat it? I do have a couple that are puttin on some pounds. Or would Queen Arabesques eat it? I know theyre mostly carnivorous but maybe? All params are good amm 0 nit 0 nat 10. Maybe not enough food for it so its dying? Whats left of it still looks healthy. Sorry for the ramble  Any suggestions?

If it is otherwise healthy, I wouldn't dismiss the idea of the SAEs nibbling at new growth. No real answer for you though.

What other fish are in the tank besides the pleco and the SAEs?

Have you checked in your filter or under driftwood pieces or rocks? Where is it? is it free floating? Is it in a moss wall or tied on some wood? It could also be tied up around other plants in your tank.
When Java moss is spread out over a large area, it seems that there is alot less of it than there really is.

there are some small pieces around the tank but it wouldnt add up to the mass that it used to be. As far as other tankmates theres rummies, cherry barbs, purple danios, and cories. Also I did check the filter and no dice :) Whats left of it is stuck in a crevice in some driftwood.
