Hey people...
My 3 discus have some sort of internal parasite I know this because of there color, eating habits, and there feces. I treated them about 2 months ago for it with Gel Tex PX cure and it worked wonders. Then the falling month they got rein fisted so I treated them again with PX cure which worked wonders again. Now they have the parasites again so I’m back to square one. I’m thinking that it may be cuz I'm not killing the parasites that are in the tank and not in the fish yet. So I want to treat the whole tank with metro for 5 days while I feed the PX cure to the fish. My only problem is I can’t seem too find it. I tried buying it for dogs and cats and just using it on my fish but I don’t have a prescription and doctors foster and smith’s site wants 20 dollars for it. Does any one know of a place I can buy it cheap. Is metro save for plants? (I have lots of plants) Any other ideas why my fish keep getting the worms over and over... O ya and when I say Metro I mean Metronidazole... Thanks for any help!!

What size tank, what inhabitants, water chemistry, waterchange regimine, etc. Explain your discus' conditions a bit better, some pics could possibly help. We need more info.
