about an hour ago I noticed one of my runts had a gill issue. The problem he is in a tank with 5 other Discus. I am making a quarantine tank now and I need advice.
The symptoms are lateral gill preference and on his left gill (not used or used very little) there is a protrusion from it. It appears to be a small piece of tissue triangular in shape about 1/3 the size of the gill hanging out of it. It is light colored and kind of hanging out of the gill. This fish has been slowly but surely becoming less active over the past few weeks. ANY HINTS?????
I will try to post pics after quarantine.
Tank parameters (NOW) are
Ammonia 0
Nitrite (NO2) 0
Nitrate (NO3) 10
Temp 85 degrees F
