discus rehab project

He's eating!!

I dumped in some thawed brine shrimp in an attempt to get him to start eating (the only one thats left) and he kind of hid in the corner for a while then slowly started trying some of the shrimps, like he wasn't too sure what he wa supposed to do with them. After getting a few down he got a little more enthhusiastic about it.

Now, what to do with this guy? I have my 30 gal amazon tank, he could go in there for a while but its a flourite substrate. the other option is to keep him in the 15 barebottom for a while. Either way, I'd like to get a 55 set up and get like 3 or 4 more. Which would be the best option for now? I really appreciate everyond who helped me out with this whole process, I'm glad I was at least able to save one.

keep him in the barebottom 15 for now, is my vote.

continue with frequent water changes and get him completely healthy.
I read on another cichlid forum that the angel rule applies to discus too..10 gallons per fish..
it would be cool to get a display tank with several discus in it..there is one at the LFS and it looks really nice..planted with live plants..the discus look right at home.
